For Marc Asher, beauty is more than an industry. It is where he grew up. His career began in the late 80s helping out at his family’s store, Marlo Beauty Supply, a Midwest business dedicated solely to licensed professionals. Stocking shelves and talking to stylists gave Marc firsthand insight into what pros were looking for and what they needed to succeed. He never forgot those early lessons.
Over the years, Marc became co-owner, Head of Purchasing, and Director of Merchandising for Marlo Beauty Supply, where he helped guide its growth into a successful national distributor for hair, nail, and spa supplies. Throughout this journey, one theme stayed constant: professionals want products they can rely on, and they want real value.

Driven by that belief, Marc began exploring product development in the early 2000s. He worked to source high-quality essentials at fair prices and created several exclusive professional lines, including:
